UC Berkeley COVID-19 Student Relief Funds

UC Berkeley COVID-19 Student Relief Fund is for undergraduate, graduate, international, and undocumented students with housing, food, medical/health, and technology needs for the Spring 2020 term. This is an emergent conversation, so they are working on Summer 2020/Fall 2020 resources for students. Their goal is to give awards to as many students as possible, but unfortunately, not all students may qualify or receive funding. Their efforts are guided by three core values: belonging, equity, and justice.

Berkeley Engineering Student Emergency Needs Fund

In these uncertain times, the College of Engineering and the Engineering Student Services (ESS) team would like to do all we can to lower barriers to your success brought on by the COVID-19 crisis. To this end, the college is establishing a Student Emergency Needs Fund to assist undergraduate and graduate engineering students encountering sudden, unexpected financial hardships.

UC Berkeley Basic Needs Center

This is the UC Berkeley Basic Needs Center a COVID-19 Living Guide that provides resources on Basic Needs Center Services & Food Pantry Services. It also has information on Case/management/Crisis Resolution Services: providing students in need of support around food, housing, financial needs. There are financial aid support, Wage/work accommodations as well as Technology support for students in need of tech resources.

The campus is busy updating websites to keep you informed about COVID-19, the Student Affairs Resources page answers and provides resources to answer your questions on health concerns, financial aid, housing, dining halls, undergraduate admissions, and mental health resources. Undocumented Student Program Sevices

The Undocumented Student Program Sevices is here for you and provides resources to meet your needs. There is Immigration Legal Support provided by EBCLC and offers free legal services. On this page, they also offer online General Consultations as well as DACA renewal updates and renewal clinics. Additionally there is more information on financial aid and support, academic counseling, and mental health support.
